MAKING INVITATIONS

We practise making invitations and accepting or declining them.

Making invitations

Are you up for (going out tonight)?
Are you in the mood to…?
How about…?
Wat do you say we try out the …?
Do you feel like…?
How does … sound?

Declining politely

I’m not sure I’m up for that tonight.
I really wish I could, but I have to study for an exam.
I’m not really in the mood to go out, actually.
That sounds really fun, but I’m afraid I have other plans.
